I would love to create a unique painting for you.

It is important to me that you get something that you love while also trusting my vision. I will do everything I can to make sure I listen and hear what you are wanting and then I will do my best to bring you a piece that is true to my style as well as perfect for your space.

FAQs

How much do you charge?

Each piece will vary in price based on size, materials, level of detail, time it requires, and shipping. Because this is so specific, the best thing to do would be to contact me with your custom piece request and upon further discussion I will be able to give you a more exact quote.

Do I have to pay up front?

I require a non-refundable base fee which covers any materials I need to purchase and any preparatory sketches or plans that are needed. The remaining balance of the work will be invoiced after you are sent a final photo and have approved it.

Are you able to ship large works of art?

We have several options with shipping large pieces of art and I can discuss those with you if this is applicable but the short answer is YES! I want to get custom work into your hands so short of me road-tripping to hand deliver it, I will make a delivery happen!

What happens if I don’t like what you’ve created or change my mind after you have made it?

I really hope you will love the piece I create for you, and I include several preparatory steps to hopefully insure that we are on the same page and that you will love the final product however if this occasion arises, you will not be bound to pay the remaining balance however you will forfeit the base fee and I will have the rights to find a new collector for the created piece.

Will you make me this picture that I saw on Pinterest?

No and let me gently share why while trying not to get to soap-boxy. There is a “code” of ethics among artists that copying someone else’s work for profit is just not right. ESPECIALLY if that work is for sale at another establishment and you are just trying to find it in a cheaper place. When you commission me to create a custom work for you, you are becoming a collector of an original piece of art by myself and as such you are paying for my vision and voice and creativity in a piece. I am so grateful and honored to have that privilege and if you see a picture that you love that isn’t by me, that is fine!!! Invest in the original artist’s work instead of looking for a copy.
